Celebrating 25 Years of The Peninsula Chicago

June marked The Peninsula Chicago’s 25^th anniversary, commemorating a quarter century for the hotel as a pillar of luxury on North Michigan Avenue.

Throughout the anniversary year of 2026, guests can reserve a special suite offer in celebration of the milestone. The Silver Suite Anniversary Offer features 25 percent savings on a second consecutive night in one of The Peninsula Chicago’s well-appointed suites, including its most spacious Peninsula Suite.

Partnering with Chicago fine jewelry house Sidney Garber, The Peninsula Chicago launched a special Spill the Tea Afternoon Tea experience. Through August, this couture-inspired experience in The Lobby features elegant afternoon tea desserts inspired by iconic items from Sidney Garber’s collection. As part of The Peninsula Chicago and Sidney Garber’s shared commitment to philanthropy, a portion of the proceeds from the Spill the Tea experience goes toward Chicago Cares, a non-profit organization that mobilizes volunteers to build a more equitable and connected Chicago.

The hotel’s rooftop lounge, Z Bar, also added The Silver Set Anniversary Cocktails to its menu. These exclusive cocktails include the Pen 25, Òle 25 Old Fashioned and Michter’s 25-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

Additionally, The Peninsula Chicago launched new Peninsula Academy experiences exclusively designed to give guests unprecedented access to historical, cultural and local experiences in Chicago. The new experiences include Chicago by Land, Air and Water; V.I.P. (Very Important Pet); and Grounded Through Chocolate.

Chicago by Land, Air and Water provides an unforgettable, curated transportation experience which allows guests to see the city from every perspective, including by 1946 Packard, helicopter and yacht.

During the V.I.P.
