Destinations / North America

Family-friendly hotel brand AmericInn by Wyndham is currently searching for family travelers who want to embark on the journey of a lifetime. The brand recently launched its second-annual search in which one family will be paid $15,000 to attend three state fairs across the Midwest, sample the foods and rides, and report back with their highlights.

To land this dream role, families can submit a 300-word-minimum written entry and family photo, or a 60-second or shorter video to fairfamily@americinn.com. The written entry or video must showcase why they should become AmericInn’s Fair Family. Remember: The more personal flair and passion for state fairs, the better!

The winning family will attend three Midwest state fairs Aug. 10–18 and document their adventures on social media. In exchange for the coverage, the family will receive seven paid nights at AmericInn hotels, a $10,000 travel stipend, $5,000 cash, Wyndham Rewards Diamond level membership and a suitcase full of AmericInn swag.

Submissions close July 25. Applications must be submitted by adults 21 years and older and the entrant must have consent for all parties in the video. For more information on the official rules, visit here.
