Family travelers will be keen to know New York Aquarium has brought back its Aquatheater this summer, with new music, a new script and a celebration of sea lions. Just minutes from Coney Island and across 14 acres of the Atlantic coast, New York Aquarium offers the perfect option for travelers to beat the heat of the city in summer.
Aquatheater’s showcase of Sea Lion Celebration: Sea Lions in the Big City delves into whether California sea lions have what it takes to be considered New Yorkers. An interesting question for sure, but it sounds like they do! The presentation looks at how their top-notch care, training and adaptions parallel city life, while also exploring how we can all protect marine life together around the globe.
