While the rest of Florida sizzles in summer, skip the heat one day and head to Orlando Science Center for some fun and educational experiences. Across four floors, family travelers will find exhibits for all ages. Here’s what to expect at this top-notch center:

Perfect for visitors aged 0–7, this area of the center encourages children to play to learn in seven skill-building areas. KidsTown features Orange Grove, where kids learn motor skills and collaboration while also developing process skills like measuring, sorting and weighing. Kids can climb and explore on Isaacs Family Climb Time, and use water and props to experiment with physics, engineering and more at Drip Drop Splash.
The all-new Life exhibit offers three immersive habitats and features animals like tamarin monkeys, a sloth, prevost squirrels and a bonnet head shark. Kids can walk through a recreation of the Amazon rainforest, complete with humidity, real plants, trees, a waterfall and more.

DC Super Heroes Summer Exhibit
Open only for summer, this exhibit on tour invites kids to step into the world of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and other iconic heroes. Be briefed by Superman and Supergirl on all of their allies, use the Crisis Scanner to survey the city for supervillains lurking in Gotham City, work alongside Batman and Robin, and solve clues. The exhibit runs until Sept. 7.
In addition to exhibits, Orlando Science Center hosts year-round events. On July 19 and 20, Astro Fest takes visitors on a journey through the stars via films, inspiring talks and live shows.
