Camelback Resort and Camelbeach invite family travelers to set out on an adventure of prehistoric proportions. Starting June 27, guests are greeted by a 35-foot-long Yangchuanosaurus and other ancient dinosaurs at the new Dinobeach. Through Sept. 2, guests can explore this unique display of 35 life-like animatronic creatures, creating a journey back in time throughout the waterpark and resort.
Dinobeach is brought to life by Don Lessem, renowned advisor to Stephen Spielberg for the iconic Jurassic Park films. Animatronics are designed to move and make sounds to create a thrilling and educational experience for all. Created under strict scientific supervision, the animatronics feature intricate details designed to make them a safe and accurate representation of their prehistoric counterparts. The realistic roars and movements of the dinosaurs make families feel like they’ve traveled back in time to meet the dinosaurs.
This summer, Camelbeach, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor waterpark, mixes the thrill of waterslides with a dinosaur adventure. Race down Rival Racer slide and keep an eye out for life-sized dinosaurs nearby. Other slides like The Vortex, Dune Runner and High Noon Typhoon may also feature dinosaurs like a towering tyrannosaurus rex or velociraptor.
The new Dinobeach is included with normal Camelbeach admissions and season passes. Most passes and tickets can be purchased online beforehand to provide seamless entrance to the waterpark.
