Big Cedar Lodge, located in the Ozark Mountains, welcomes family travelers this Easter. This year’s Easter festivities include a fun-filled itinerary of family-friendly activities offered throughout the weekend leading up to Easter Sunday. Below are some highlights you won’t want to miss:
Nestled within the Ozark Mountains and blooming Dogwood trees, Big Cedar Lodge’s gorgeous scenery makes for the perfect photo opportunity and meet-and-greet spot with the Easter Bunny. Guests visiting with little ones can arrange for the Easter Bunny to visit in the evening or morning. The Easter Bunny will bring a gift basket of treats with the Easter Bunny Hop-In.
Family Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt
On Easter Sunday, families should put on their best walking shoes and grab an egg hunt map for a fun Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt. Decorative eggs will be filled with delicious treats and scattered across Big Cedar. After the egg hunt, stick around for face painting, a petting zoo and Easter-themed crafts at Grandview Conference Center.
Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt
This amazing race of egg hunts is perfect for tweens or teens. Teams of two–six can compete in a scavenger hunt around the property and gather clues after completing fun tasks to reach glowing eggs filled with prizes. After the hunt, end the night with toasted marshmallows and festive lawn games.
