Grande Lakes Orlando invites family travelers to celebrate the holiday season in Florida. This multi-resort hotel complex is home to The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes; and JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes.
The resort hosts special activities throughout December. Fan-favorite events include Winter Wonderland Market at JW Marriott, and Teddy Bear Tea and Gingerbread School at The Ritz-Carlton. Inspired by European Christmas markets, the Winter Wonderland Market features holiday treats and goods from local artisans. This year it debuts Orlando’s largest s’mores bar.
Restaurants throughout the resort feature special holiday meals. Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at Michelin-recommended Knife & Spoon or Primo. Leading up to Christmas, experience the resort’s take on the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Can’t decide where to imbibe? The resort offers a Cocktail Tour across its food and beverages outlets, with special seasonal drinks.
Take part in holiday-themed wellness experiences including the Gobbler 5K (Nov. 28) and Holiday GLO 5K (Dec. 28) fun run/walk. After the races, head to The Ritz-Carlton Spa for winter-themed recovery treatments.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Fireworks & Fizz party. Held at The Ritz-Carlton Lobby Lounge, the event includes Champagne, a seafood tower, party favors and premium seating for the fireworks display at midnight. Guests may also reserve a private cabana for a front-row seat to the action.
