Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort hosts Fall Fest now through Nov. 29. The event features a variety of family-friendly activities including pumpkin painting, a candy buffet, flea market and tote bag decorating session. Scottsdale Arts’ Canal Convergence kicks off today and runs through Nov. 16. This year’s theme is Showtime, celebrating the convergence of performance and public art. The festival also includes workshops, food trucks, a mini film festival and fire shows.
Arizona Indigenous Food Symposium and Arizona Indigenous Culinary Experience in Old Town takes place Nov. 15. Attendees will participate in tastings, chef demonstrations and discussions about the local community.

Celebrate the start of the holiday season in Scottsdale. Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hosts its annual Christmas at the Princess celebration, Nov. 21–Jan. 3. The extravagant event features ice skating, visits from Santa, holiday treats and much more. A favorite holiday tradition among locals and tourists, ZooLights takes place at Phoenix Zoo Nov. 26–Jan. 16. In its ninth year, the city’s holiday extravaganza, Scottsdazzle, will be held Nov. 29 –Dec. 31 in Old Town Scottsdale. More than 45 events take place, from a tree lighting to outdoor holiday market.
