“The Zagreb Festival of Lights has established itself as an event that uniquely connects art, culture, science, and sustainability, presenting Croatia’s capital as a city that fosters creativity, innovation, and international cooperation. The continuous growth of interest among audiences, artists, and partners confirms its importance within the city’s cultural and tourism identity. A particularly significant step in international promotion is the participation of the Festival of Lights Zagreb at the Festival of Lights Berlin, one of the most prestigious events of its kind in the world. By appearing in Berlin, Zagreb further affirms itself as a city that nurtures contemporary artistic expression and actively participates in global cultural dialogue,” said Martina Bienenfeld, CEO, Zagreb Tourist Board.

During the festival, streets, squares, parks and façades of city landmarks transform into artistic installations and interactive projections. Light becomes a medium connecting art, technology and community. The festival also boasts educational and sustainable dimensions, exploring topics like energy efficiency, environmental protection and the responsible use of technology.
Its unique blend of art, science and urban innovation attracts a wide audience, from creative professionals to global partners.
