In fact, the property is going all out to attract families by offering a complimentary Zando’s Kids Program through Dec. 19. The club, designed for kids aged 4 to 12, offers cultural classes, storytelling and a menu of free activities. For example, children are entertained with coconut bowling, Caribbean dance classes, flower and leaf art, shell painting, salt coloring and lessons in making carnival masks, flags and treasure maps. Young guests can even learn to make shak-shaks, a kind of local musical instrument.

The offer can be combined with the All-IncLUCIAN on-property dining experience, an all-inclusive meal plan featuring daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages. The plan includes all á la carte menus, special event barbecues, sushi lunches, special tapas and poolside snacks as well as a dine-around at a local restaurant.

Eateries include The Grill, the Hurricane Hole Bar and Restaurant and the Rum Cave. Located alongside St. Lucia’s Marigot Bay, Marigot Bay Resort and Marina comprises 124 suites, each featuring balconies with views of either the bay or tropical gardens. Many rooms also offer private hot tubs.

While children are entertained, parents can indulge in an indigenous Amerindian spa treatment  — based on traditions of the original local inhabitants — at Spa Village, where you can also work out at the state-of-the-art fitness center. They can also go for a swim in the two infinity pools, cool off with a drink at the swim-up bar, enjoy an on-property rum-infusing class or enjoy complimentary yoga and Pilates in Spa Village.

The whole family can participate in a full-day hiking adventure to 2,619 feet above sea level that also includes snorkeling and a picnic, or opt for a zip line and aerial tram ride to see the sights from above.

Accommodations range from junior suites and one- and two-bedroom suites to three-bedroom penthouses, all with private balconies.

The marina is home to some of the glitziest super-yachts, but also makes a convenient spot for guests who want to charter a boat or hop on a catamaran cruise.

The children’s rates, applicable for kids aged 12 and younger, can be applied to all rate codes, and complimentary cribs are available.

Best of Both Worlds

Enjoy the best of both worlds when you fly with TAP Air Portugal thanks to the Portugal Stopover program. With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from  Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.
