Gaylord Hotels invites guests to experience the Summer of More. The brand debuts its summer programming beginning May 21, running through Sept. 6 at Gaylord Texan in Texas, Gaylord Rockies in Colorado, Gaylord Palms in Florida, and Gaylord Opryland in Tennessee. Guests choose from a variety of special programming and events, including aquatic experiences, culinary offerings, spa treatments, live entertainment and more.

Aquatic Adventures

Gaylord Palms recently unveiled its Crystal River Rapids at Cypress Springs Water Park. The thrilling river ride takes guests through twists and turns. The ride joins other attractions including a 48.5-foot water slide and water playground. Gaylord Texan features a 10-acre outdoor Paradise Springs water park. Choose from relaxing or action-packed rides, including a 6,000-square-foot lagoon with walk-in beach, a zip line and water slides. Check out the property’s newly renovated outdoor pool and hot tub. Gaylord Rockies offers an indoor/outdoor water park with water slides, pools, a lazy river and sunbathing decks. Gaylord Opryland boasts a three-level aquatic attraction, SoundWaves, complete with water slides, pools, lazy and rapid rivers and an outdoor wave pool.

Summer Activities

Family-friendly activities are available at each of the properties. Animal Encounters and Wildlife Rescue offer real-life and virtual animal experiences. Gaylord Palms’ “Adventure Kids: Join the Club” show invites kids on an educational journey to learn about plant life, animals and the planet.

Spa Sessions

Adults and kids can take advantage of spa offerings at each resort’s signature spas. Gaylord Rockies offers two special summer treatments: detox and renewal body treatment and skin renewal facial. Gaylord Texan also offers summer spa treatments: dream catcher massage and illuminating wrinkle recovery facial.

All four resorts offer deals that include accommodations, food and beverage credits, event tickets and other programming with rates starting at $269 for a family of four.
