Experience authentic Western charm with a family trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming, this summer.

Cheyenne is home to the world’s largest outdoor rodeo. This summer, visitors may experience cowboy culture up close with the new Saddle Up Pass. Priced at $125, this pass includes discounts to local shops and restaurants, a 60-minute horseback ride and roping lesson at Terry Bison Ranch, a 90-minute Wild West Tour aboard Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley, museum passes, and a photoshoot with a complimentary print at Emma’s Old Time Photos.
“The nostalgia of the American west is thriving, driving music charts, fashion trends, and travel decisions,” said Domenic Bravo, CEO, Visit Cheyenne. “Cheyenne is one of the few authentic destinations that has not deviated from its western roots and instead offers a non-commodified dose of true cowboy culture. Visitors will rub shoulders with cowboys and ranchers — real ones — and find ample opportunity for genuine connection to our city’s heritage and community through the Saddle Up Pass.”

In addition to the Saddle Up Pass, Cheyenne hosts special programming throughout the summer. The fifth annual Hell on Wheels open rodeo series kicked off June 7 and continues on select Fridays through September. Cheyenne Frontier Days returns July 19–28 with a full schedule of rodeo events, special dinners and concerts.
