Orlando World Center Marriott should be on your family travel radar this winter season. The property recently announced its partnership with SkyElements to introduce a new Holiday Drone Show to be displayed nightly, Dec. 25–30. Flying above the resort with Walt Disney World in view, the 12-minute show will feature synchronized drones displaying beautiful pictures in the sky, all set to the tune of themed music.
Each night will feature a different show, creating a unique experience for guests throughout the season. A special themed show will take place Dec. 28 in honor of the resort’s signature Mermaid & Glow Party. Enjoy exciting festivities surrounding Falls Pool or a one-of-a-kind view from the resort’s premium drone-view rooms.
In addition to the Holiday Drone Show, guests can expect the following winter-themed celebrations:
Nightly Marquee Events (Dec. 23–31)
For the first time, guests can enjoy nightly marquee events such as a Silent Night Disco Bash, Mingo’s Pajama Party, carolers in the lobby, character meet and greets, and more.
12 Days of Holiday Fun (Dec. 20–31)
The recreation and food and beverage teams will host 12 Days of Holiday Fun, which includes a cookie- and gingerbread house-decorating class; a pop-up Ugly Sweater bar in the hotel’s speakeasy; classic holiday crafts; and games celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year’s.
Room Decor Packages
Get into the holiday spirit with an in-room Christmas tree adorned with sparkling ornaments waiting for your arrival. Guests can also get stocking deliveries filled with treats for all ages to enjoy.
Mermaid & Glow Party
On Dec. 28, join Mermaid Elle and friends to splash and swim around in Falls Pool. Enjoy a meet and greet with mythical creatures, and play with glowing swag and bubble machines.
