Perfect for art-loving family travelers, The Peninsula Hotels recently announced an exciting partnership with London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, with a series of contemporary art installations. The collaboration debuts with an exhibit at The Peninsula Hong Kong, set to launch in time for Art Basel Hong Kong 2025.
This multiyear partnership expands on the luxury hotel brand’s Art in Resonance program, exposing the public to contemporary art. The commission-based program launched in 2019 to spotlight works from emerging and established artists. The team from V&A will lend their expertise, bringing a fresh perspective to the program.

“We could not be more thrilled to work with the V&A, the world’s preeminent collective champion of the creative arts,” said Gareth Roberts, executive director and COO of The Peninsula’s parent company The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited. “In many ways, this partnership feels like the natural next step for our ‘Art in Resonance’ program, through which we strive to embrace boundary-pushing art immersion for our guests and the public at large.”
The collaboration debuts in late March at The Peninsula Hong Kong, with a newly commissioned work, curated by V&A’s Asia department curator. The work will be prominently displayed in the hotel lobby alongside two other new works from Art in Resonance artists.
