Celebrate the end of winter with family travel. Although there are plenty of reasons to travel within the next couple of months, destinations around the world make May the month to travel. Check out these destinations for inspiration in planning family travel this May.

Paradise Island, The Bahamas

The end of May is the unofficial start of summer, so make the most of the newly warm weather and head to Atlantis Paradise Island. On May 28, GRAMMY Award winner and multi-platinum artist Sheryl Crow will perform at the resort. While on the property, guests can enjoy Atlantis’ 24 dining options, Aquaventure’s pools and waterslides, as well as visit Dolphin Cay and spend time relaxing on the beach.

St Barths

As everyone knows, Mother’s Day falls in May every year. This year, the 5-star Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf St Barth offers a package in honor of the special day. The Mother’s Day package includes a facial and massage treatments from Spa Diane, a private catamaran ride with her favorite foods on board, a meditation class, a welcome gift of her favorite sweets, a 30-minute private shopping experience, a family photo shoot and a special dinner for two while the kids stay in the room with a babysitter.

Ibiza, Spain

Six Senses Ibiza offers expert-led retreats designed to provide much-needed space to reconnect with what matters and reach new possibilities. May 6–10, the resort will offer a Solving Mystery of Your Sleep retreat, where guests can receive help and advice on their sleep issues. The Sleep Doctor, Dr. Michael Breus, a Los Angeles-based clinical psychologist, will host this sleep retreat and explain why overall happiness is linked to quality and quantity of sleep.

The Caucasus

Remote Lands, a luxury tour operator, recently announced the launch of new bespoke journeys through Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Travelers will explore the picturesque landscapes and history of these countries. The region between the Black and Caspian Seas offers cultural diversity and genuine hospitality while delivering an exhilarating experience for any traveler.

Neos Airlines Provides Amenity Kits for Kids

Children’s programming and games are standard on most transcontinental flights, and Neos Airlines is no exception. It has also established a niche as an affordable carrier with premium attributes and a soft spot for family travelers.
