This October, family travelers can climb aboard PEANUTS The Great Pumpkin Patch Express at Pennsylvania’s East Broad Top Railroad. On this three-hour experience, families enjoy a roundtrip train ride to the pumpkin patch, where every kid can take home their own pumpkin.

The train ventures through rolling hills, farms and forest to reach Sincere Pumpkin Patch. At the pumpkin patch, families can also partake in a variety of fun activities and get their photos taken with Snoopy and Charlie Brown. Families have one hour and 45 minutes to explore the pumpkin patch, take part in activities, take photos and explore Charlie Brown’s Game Alley. Other fun activities include cornhole, pumpkin decorating, a football kicking contest, letters to The Great Pumpkin, a costume contest and hay bale wagon rides.
The train and pumpkin experience are based on It’s a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, the classic American prime-time television special from 1966.

Families can ride in cozy, enclosed passenger cars, the popular open-air cars or even an authentic railroad caboose. Trains depart at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Oct. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29. Tickets are $28 for adults and $22 for children 13 years and under. Reservations are recommended.
