LEGO Discovery Center D.C., perfect for family travelers, comes to Springfield, Virginia, this summer and, now, six lucky children won the center’s Mini Model Builders search. Mason, Elena, Bryson, Elizabeth, Leila and Lucas earned the title and became the first to step foot in the attraction, touring the space and catching a glimpse of the fully built LEGO Lincoln Memorial that will be on display when LEGO Discovery Center D.C. opens.

The six kids will be in charge of the LEGO Discovery Center, testing and advising the team on how to make a visit there a more awesome experience as part of their Mini Model Builders role. They will also be privy to exclusive behind-the-scenes previews, early access to the center and free access for an entire year.
LEGO Discovery Center D.C. will include 12 themed zones of fun and play: Imagination Express, where guests can climb aboard; the 4-D Cinema; Mini World, created from 1.5 million bricks; Creative Club, where kids can let their imagination run wild; Build Adventures; Minifigure Creator, to create a custom companion; LEGO Café; Tree of Imagination, with daily activities; Spaceship Build & Scan; The Workshop; Hero Adventures, with a laser maze and climbing wall; and Duplo Park.
