Margaritaville announced plans for its first-ever Margaritaville Resort Village, slated to open in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains in mid-2024 for family travelers venturing north. Construction of the year-round destination will begin in 2023.
The resort village will feature different lodging options. Margaritaville Hotel Pocono Mountains will honor the original Pocono Manor with gardens, restaurants, pools and live entertainment. Camp Margaritaville is the brand’s luxury camping destination and will offer various RV sites and cabins, plus a retail store, fitness center, bar, restaurant and game room. The Tiny Homes Bungalows offer a rustic cabin vibe with stone fire pits and patios. For those looking for extended stays, Townhomes offer amenities perfect for week, month or longer stays.
Guests visiting Margaritaville Resort Village in the winter can partake in winter activities, from tubing to an ice bar complete with a hot chocolate stand.
“As the ultimate family destination for over eight decades, the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains has offered a retreat for those in search of fun, relaxation, and a backdrop of lakes and mountains. In Margaritaville, we are known for our sense of escapism and look forward to bringing our vacation lifestyle to the area with the first Margaritaville Resort Village,” said Jim Wiseman, president of development, Margaritaville. “With diverse places to stay, activities for all ages, and memorable experiences, we’re proud to bring new jobs to the community and welcome new visitors to our state of mind.”
