launched its new Family by JW program

to help traveling families spend more quality time with one another easily and without the struggle of planning an itinerary that will keep the entire family entertained all day long. The program combines brand partnerships and nonprofits with hotel experiences, resulting in enriching, memorable travel activities that can be sprinkled throughout your trip and that the entire family can enjoy together. The program is intended for families with children ages 4-12.

Activities include customized fitness activities with The Joffrey Ballet, chef-led cooking experiences and educational experiences created in partnership with The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Activities are based on three kid-friendly themes: creativity, activeness and culture. The themes reflect those of the brand’s core pillars of culinary, culture and well-being.

The Guggenheim Museum experience starts with a welcome amenity for children, an activity guide that encourages children to design their own building and think about spatial perception. They can use the guide during their museum tours to stay active, both physically and mentally.

The Joffrey Ballet fitness activities include the Wind Down and Get Up routine, which families can practice in their guestrooms. The routine is perfect for waking up in the morning and settling into a relaxing state before bed. A special turndown service incorporates cards from Joffrey Ballet experts with tips and techniques for family well-being.

For the budding culinary superstars, the chef-led cooking classes incorporate delicious cuisine and the culture of the property’s destination. All food served keeps family wellness in mind, with vitamin- and mineral-packed ingredients. Additionally, families can order similar menus to their room through a special protein- and fiber-rich menu, with options including oven-roasted organic chicken with rainbow vegetables and turkey Bolognese whole-wheat spaghetti with a baby lettuce salad and yogurt ranch.
