Your kiddos will be excited to learn they can travel with their favorite Nickelodeon characters — including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and PAW Patrol — when Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya opens in June 2021. Families can now book accommodations at the resort for their summer vacation.
The resort will feature 280 oceanfront, swim-up suites with family-friendly amenities in each room, like two bathrooms per suite, art pieces pulled from show archives and furniture inspired by favorite characters. Four rooftop, penthouse-style Signature Suites include themed accommodations like the Pineapple Suite and Turtle Lair Suite.
Aqua Nick is a six-acre themed waterpark with 2,000 square feet of slides. More than 1,820 square feet of river rides include a Lazy River. Other amenities include Bikini Bottom Beach, a Slime Spot and PAW Patrol Adventure Bay. Nickelodeon Place will boast signature characters, as well as Club Nick, the ultimate free play zone.
There’s also world-class dining for guests across six distinct restaurants. And adults can still enjoy their own time with sommeliers and mixologists at three bars. Round out your family vacation at the state-of-the-art fitness center and a spa with kids’ treatments.
“After the huge success of the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, we could not be better poised to expand the brand experience with our resort with all oceanfront swim-up suites, along with themed experiences with an extended cast of 20 of your favorite Nickelodeon characters,” said Mario Mathieu, senior vice president of business development, design and construction, Karisma Hotels & Resorts. “This property features many firsts such as the new Turtle Lair Suite, even more dedicated entertainment spaces such as SNICK Lounge and Mainstage, and the one-of-a-kind Aqua Nick with its epic slides, river rides and the teen-friendly Soak Summit, which will be a destination in itself.”
