Starting Sept. 17 and running through Oct. 30, The New York Botanical Garden welcomes family travelers to NYBG Fall-O-Ween, a celebration of autumn perfect for all ages. Activities include an NYBG Beer Garden, Spooky Nights, dance parties, tons of pumpkins and gourds, and more. Tickets are on sale now.
Ongoing NYBG Fall-O-Ween Programming
- Plethora of Pumpkins, on Conservatory Lawn and Conservatory Plaza, teaches about many pumpkin varieties and provides photo opportunities
- Disappearing Plants, at Native Plant Garden, offers a self-guided tour to learn about plants extirpated from the adjacent Thain Family Forest
- NYBG Beer Garden, at Visitor Center Cantina, serves craft beers, ciders and more
- Flavors of Fall: Artisan Demonstrations, every weekend 1–4 p.m. in Leon Levy Visitor Center, explores the botanical backgrounds of pumpkins, spices and more
- Scarecrows and Pumpkins, in Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, boasts scarecrow displays and seasonal hands-on activities
- Kiku, at Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, displays artfully trained Japanese chrysanthemums
