To start, kids embark on an interactive zoo tour to learn about different species, how to responsibly interact with wildlife, the importance of wildlife in our ecosystem and much more. Broken into groups of three, children 5 and older mimic the real workday of trained caretaking staff through activities like feeding chickens, rabbits, deer, goats and peacocks; and cleaning various animal habitats to learn about diets and behaviors. Lunch is provided for children, as well as snacks and drinks. The kiddos head home with commemorative photos and peacock feathers.
