Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark at Pennsylvania’s Camelback Resort opened for the season on June 16 with a line-up of activities, adventures, attractions and thrills perfect for family travelers.
Among the exciting things in store for the season is the opening of the new Rival Racer waterslide, allowing sliders to race each other through twists and turns on enclosed tracks. The slide rushes 5,600 gallons of water per minute down a 400-foot slide with a vertical drop of 54 feet of eight twisting, turning, dropping, closed individual chutes converging at three different rallying points and at the finish line. In addition to Rival Racer, there are 37 other waterpark slides and rides, including Titan, the world’s largest water slide of its kind.
New Summer Swim Lessons kick off June 22 with The World’s Greatest Swim Lesson, a huge launch lesson held at the Olympic Pool. Regular 45-minute swimming lessons continue once a week after, on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Private cabanas provide shade and beach homebase pampering, loaded with amenities to ensure comfort throughout the day. Other activities on offer include live entertainment, scavenger hunts, live sand sculpture demos and more.
Purchase 25th Anniversary Season passes including a Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark Unlimited Pass for $109, valid seven days a week. Value Passes cost $89 each, with admission Monday–Friday.
