By partnering with GuideGeek to create customized itinerary support to help travelers plan their vacations, Santa Monica is keeping up.
The Santa Monica Guide, launched last month on SantaMonica.com, gives travelers customized information based on questions and responses when using the chat box in the bottom left corner of the screen, providing real-time responses. In other words, you can get actual help with planning your itinerary without having to wait for a real person to get back in touch with you later.
The technology used by GuideGeek helps to create a personalized experience for each user, creating itineraries based on the size of your family, ages of its members, and interests and preferences of each person. The technology has already been put to use in other parts of California, but only at a regional level, making Santa Monica the first city to leverage this AI capability to improve accessibility for visitors who aren’t already familiar with Santa Monica as well as for those who are but would like some new suggestions for ways to experience the city.
