It’s been a busy year for Fort Worth Zoo, which saw many adorable baby animals make their debut. From lion cubs to black bears, here are all the little ones family travelers can spot on their next visit to the zoo.

Lady Bird the Elephant
The baby elephant first appeared in August, slowly blossoming as she gains confidence within her herd. She was named through a community vote, and she can be often seen having playful moments and being gently guided by the herd.

Pancake the Giraffe
Pancake was only born this past October, standing at 5 feet, 8 inches at birth! Still growing, this little calf continues to settle.

Penelope the Porcupine
Born to parents Piper and Quilliam, this young porcupine made her zoo debut in May. She’s quite playful, engaging visitors through stage shows and special events.
Imara and Tamu the Lion Cubs
These sibling cubs may be related, but they’re opposite in personality. The female cub is playful and bold, while her brother is more reserved, opting to stay close to their mom.

Tito the Kudu
First appearing this past June, Tito the Kudu calf often frolics and explores his new home in the African Savannah habitat.

Cinnamon and Raisin the Black Bears
They came to the zoo this past April as 1-year-olds, and their young energy is still evident as they climb, tear up logs and swim together in Pineywoods & Swamps habitat in Texas Wild.
