Abercrombie & Kent recently expanded its portfolio in the Galápagos Islands to provide family travelers with even more ways to see its natural beauty and wildlife up close. Partnering with Ecoventura, a leader in sustainable travel, the two brands invite travelers to book the new Tailor Made Galápagos: Southern & Central Route experience.
Highlights of this family-friendly journey include:
- Small groups with dedicated guides, allowing families to get up close with animals and ask loads of questions
- Only 10 cabins, the perfect buyout option for a multigen family trip
- Hand-selected luxury accommodations with insider-access opportunities and sightseeing experiences
- Countless chances to kayak, snorkel, hike or relax on shore
- Onboard activities like guided stargazing trips and nature lectures
- Delicious food paying homage to local cuisine and culture
This 11-day experience begins in Quito, Ecuador, before venturing to the Galápagos Islands. The rest of the trip sees guests travel to San Cristobal, Cerro Brujo, Espanola, Floreana, Santa Cruz, Bartolome and South Plaza, before returning to Quito.
On San Cristobal, travelers can explore El Junco Lake, a caldera of an extinct volcano, and maybe even spot nesting colonies of both species of frigate bird. In Cerro Brujo, travelers head to Punta Putt, a tuff formation where many sea birds nest, including all three types of booby. Here, guests can also snorkel. It’s on Santa Cruz where you’ll visit the tortoise reserve at La Primicias, a private farm in the highlands and encounter the giant tortoise. These adventures and more await on this new and unique experience with Abercrombie & Kent and Ecoventura.
