Vail celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort treats family travelers to a full roster of special spring programming in honor of the anniversary.
The Hythe lies near several world-class skiing facilities. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, there are more than 5,000 skiable acres available for all skill levels. Skiing and snowboarding lessons are also available. For a change of pace, opt to experience a snowmobiling excursion. Vail is home to many scenic hiking trails, with popular trails including Booth Falls, Shrine Pass, Lost Lake Trailhead and Piney River Ranch.
The Hythe partners with Adventure IO on a variety of excursions and adventures. Opt to mountain bike with a professional mountain biker on a day tour. Head to a fly-fishing excursion via horseback. The secluded area is one of the largest wilderness areas in Colorado. Start your day with yoga led by a Lululemon ambassador and team. For those interested in spirits, opt for the 10th Mountain Distillery tour. Groups meet in The Hythe lobby before making their way to the distillery in Vail Village. Here, guests enjoy a private cocktail hour and VIP whiskey tasting.
Vail hosts events throughout spring with its Vail Après Spring Series. Two-night music festival Après at the Amp takes places April 7–8.
