Niagara Falls State Park will host five nights of fireworks displays in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, starting July 1.
Free watch parties will take place throughout the state, including two large-scale events on June 12 at Stony Brook University on Long Island and July 19 at Kensico Dam Plaza in Westchester County.

Cultural Events
Summer arts and cultural events throughout the state include Rolling Stone Stateside Music Festival (July 4), Annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival (Aug. 6–9) and The Festival (Aug. 14 –16).
“Summer is an exceptional time to experience New York State – and this year, even more so, as the nation’s 250th anniversary and the FIFA World Cup take center stage. From watching fireworks over Niagara Falls to escaping to upstate for a day at Saratoga Race Course between soccer matches or enjoying a Shakespeare performance at the new Samuel H. Scripps Theater Center, there are unforgettable experiences waiting for every traveler across the Empire State,” said Ross D. Levi, executive director of tourism, I LOVE NY.
