Take the Family to Las Vegas’ Mob Museum This Fall

This October is set to be an exciting one at The Mob Museum, where family travelers will find some exciting exhibitions and special events. Located in Downtown Las Vegas, this museum delves into the history of organized crime in the United States, complete with artifacts and stories.

Family Secrets with Frank Calabrese Jr.

Held every Wednesday–Sunday this month, this special exhibition covers the crimes of reformed mobster Frank Calabrese Jr., raised by his father Frank Calabrese Sr., a notorious Chicago Outfit enforcer and hitman. Frank teamed up with the FBI to get proof of his father’s crimes and grant himself immunity. In this exhibition, you can hear his story of family, violence, greed and redemption.

Walter White’s Last Ride Raffle

Now through Dec. 15, visitors aged 21 and up can snag a $5 ticket for the chance to win a 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille d’Elegance driven by Bryan Cranston as Walter White from the hit series Breaking Bad. Proceeds support The Mob Museum.

Year-Round Exhibitions

In addition to these limited-time events and displays, Mob Museum houses permanent exhibitions. Wander through the second-floor courtroom, the location of one of 14 national Kefauver Committee hearings to expose organized crime in 1950 and 1951. There’s also the Wall of Mobsters, a fully operational speakeasy and distillery, and exhibit called Organized Crime Today.
