Family travelers to London this summer will want to book tickets for The Paddington Bear Experience, opening on May 31 and spanning more than 26,000 square feet at County Hall. Tickets are now on sale.
The experience takes visitors inside Paddington’s world, immersing them in some of the most memorable locations from the beloved stories. Start at Paddington Station, where the Brown family finds Paddington, before a lively train journey through London landmarks to the Browns’ house at No. 32 Windsor Gardens. More multisensory experiences await as the family prepares for a special occasion: The Marmalade Day Festival!
Throughout the experience, guests enjoy themed rooms, interactive games, character interactions and more. Food and beverage, including Paddington’s favorite marmalade sandwich, will be on offer.
“For over three years we have been working diligently on the launch of the most ambitious Paddington inspired experience in the world, opening in the heart of Central London. ‘The Paddington BearTM Experience’ will allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the wonderful world of Paddington and the Brown family as they journey through the iconic locations of the much-loved stories in a sensory, thrilling experiential adventure for all the family,” said David Hutchinson, CEO, The Path Entertainment Group. “We look forward to welcoming fans of all ages to enjoy the magical world of Paddington that our incredible team has created.”
Paddington first debuted in 1958, created by author Michael Bond. Celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2023, the original book was followed by a series of stories, television shows and feature films.
Before the exhibition opens in May, travelers can visit Mr. Gruber’s Shop, now open, at County Hall. Here, visitors get a first glimpse at what to expect from the experience, can purchase tickets and peruse Paddington merchandise.
