There’s still time for family travel this month to The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark, located in the Sullivan Catskills, about 90 minutes from New York City. Celebrate either the end of summer or the beginning of the school year or both at New York’s largest indoor waterpark with more than 320 modern suites.

The waterpark boasts 11 attractions, as well as indoor and outdoor heated pools. But that’s just the beginning of what is on offer for family travelers here. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the Playopolis arcade, an indoor ropes course, virtual reality simulators, an immersive escape room, low-impact paintball, 6 miles of scenic seasonal hiking trails, and other seasonal indoor and outdoor activities. There’s also seven bars and eateries to choose from, so families can make the resort their home away from home for a few days.

If families choose to venture off site, The Kartrite Resort is nearby tons of area attractions, including Resorts World Catskills, Monster Golf Course, Legoland, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and more.

It has also established a niche as an affordable carrier with premium attributes and a soft spot for family travelers.
