Family travelers with dog best friends can’t miss this new opportunity to earn big bucks thanks to a new contest from a renowned hotel brand. Baymont by Wyndham kicks off its nationwide search for the next Baymont Buddy for the Year.

The hotel brand, which boasts hundreds of pet-friendly hotels across the United States, seeks a four-legged furry ambassador to be the face of the brand. The competition runs through Sept. 19, in which pet owners can submit an application and photo of their dog via email.

The prize? How does $10,000 cash, a two-night hotel stay for a campaign photo shoot and an upgrade to Wyndham Rewards Diamond status sound?

The winning pup will be named Baymont by Wyndham’s official pet ambassador, landing a starring role in Baymont’s upcoming digital marketing campaign. The lucky dog’s parents, of course, reap the benefits, as well.

All dogs are welcome. To apply, send the best photo of your pet to baymontbuddy@wyndham.com along with a 250-word or less description of why your pup is the ideal candidate to be Baymont Buddy of the Year. In the email, please also include your full name, email and place of residency in the United States. Owners and their dog must be able to travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and complete a brand photoshoot by February 2024.

The winning candidate will be selected around Oct. 17.
