The first and only art-immersive resort in the Maldives recently unveiled its 2024 Kids’ Summer Camp. Perfect for family travelers, JOALI Maldives welcomes guests with unique and fun experiences for all. This year’s camp theme is Choose Your Joy, Spark Your Creativity.
The camp, lasting through Aug. 31, brings international artists to create personalized experiences this summer such as Emmanuel Deschodt, Gabriela Noelle and Karu Paper Studio. Designed for kids aged. 4–12, a dedicated itinerary for summer brings new activities like art classes, island immersion, culture, wellness, culinary classes, sports and games.

From July 8 to 14, Emmauel Deschodt blends his art with boxing to host wood-painting workshops, boxing classes and a live performance of his Punch Portrait. Karu Paper Studio visits the resort July 15–21. Founder Anouk Vigneau creates pieces through five paper workshops. Gabrielle Noelle arrives Aug. 5–11, hosting three workshops for kids and families to create pieces prompting imagination, exercising curiosity and creating a bond with the environment.
In addition to these workshops, this year’s summer camp offers a wide range of activities. Every day is filled with games and sports like foam parties, paddle tennis and ocean scavenger hunts with JOALI’s resident marine biologist. Kids will also love stargazing with the resort’s resident astronomer, tree planting, organic gardening, yoga classes, cooking classes, pottery classes and more.
