Family travelers might leave Napa Valley, California, off their travel list since the destination is typically associated with vineyards and wineries, but families will be delighted to hear Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection, an upscale property in the region, just announced a new partnership with Camp Manitou. Camp Manitou is one of the nation’s foremost camps for children, and now offers a thoughtfully curated experience at this resort, allowing parents to explore Napa Valley on their own while the little ones are entertained.
Through Aug. 9, Camp Manitou at Solage brings summer camp fun to the wine country with engaging activities tailored to kids ages 4–12. Little travelers can enjoy scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, pickleball, movie nights, and more. While the kids are preoccupied, parents are free to treat themselves to a spa day, enjoy an adults-only meal at signature restaurant Solbar or go wine tasting at a variety of nearby wineries.
See below for Camp Manitou bookings and timeslot details:
- Day sessions run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., includes lunch and runs $150 per child
- Evening Sessions, ideal for parents wanting a romantic dinner, runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and costs $150 per child
- Private In-Room childcare is available for up to four children and starts at $250. Parents must reserve this option in advance.
