In conjunction with resuming local and international flights, Turkish Airlines
introduced new in-flight service and amenity products to ensure travelers stay safe while traveling: Hygiene Experts and Hygiene Kits.
Hygiene Kits containing a mask, disinfectant and antiseptic tissue will be distributed to passengers. Cabin crews will employ Hygiene Experts. These individuals’ sole goal is to monitor, maintain and enforce all on-board hygiene measures. In addition to distributing the Hygiene Kits, Hygiene Experts will monitor mask usage among passengers, disinfect lavatories and enforce in-flight social distancing rules.
Turkish Airlines’ aircraft are thoroughly disinfected prior to each flight, using special equipment and cleaning products that are both safe and effective.
The carrier compiled a comprehensive listing of all health and safety measures from before the flight up through disembarking. These measures include online check-in to reduce contact rate, wearing a mask at all points of the airport, maintaining physical distance at the airport and while boarding, utilizing the provided Hygiene Kit and following the disembarkation process as detailed by the flight crew.
Before your next Turkish Airlines flight, read the full set of safe travel guidelines
to ensure you’re safe and prepared for your trip.
