Adventurous family travelers will enjoy this news: Construction will soon start on Universal Studios Hollywood’s newest rollercoaster, themed to the studio’s hit Fast & Furious film franchise.
Universal Studios Hollywood promises to bring innovative and technological achievements never previously utilized to this new thrill ride, which joins other rides and attractions inspired by today’s favorite movies, television shows and digital game experiences. The state-of-the-art rollercoaster will take riders into the Fast & Furious universe thanks to the decades-long expertise of Universal Destinations & Experiences.
The Fast & Furious film franchise has become the studio’s most-profitable and longest-running franchise, spanning more than 20 years and earning more than $7 billion at the worldwide box office while smashing records.
The new rollercoaster joins other popular attractions at the theme park, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD; The Wizarding World of Harry Potter; Jurassic World—The Ride; Despicable Me Minion Mayhem; The Simpsons Ride; the signature Studio Tour, taking guests behind the scenes of movie and television productions; and more.
