Walt Disney World is the single most visited vacation resort in the world for family travelers. With a yearly average attendance of more than 58 million people, you should expect crowds on any given day of the year. Crowds can fluctuate throughout the year, so choosing the dates for your family vacation is crucial.
Disney travel planning experts MagicGuides analyzed past park attendance data in order to predict future crowds at Disney World’s Four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The data compared the average temperature predicted on each day to the predicted crowd level and the best days to visit each park between August 2023 and June 2024. The results were determined based on a combined score.
So, when are the best days to visit Walt Disney World? The best time to visit depends on many factors like the weather, travelers’ schedules and how crowded the theme park will be.
According to the crowds-to-weather score, there are a few particular days to visit each park at Walt Disney World over the next year. Magic Kingdom has three days to visit for the best crowd-to-weather ratio: Oct. 26, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Epcot has six perfect days, Hollywood Studios also has six and Animal Kingdom has 12. Dates are similar for each park, highlighting the last week of October is the best week to visit.
