Reno Tahoe, Nevada, offers family travelers plenty of fun festivals this summer.
Throughout July, the Artown art festival hosts local and international artists. During this month-long event, visitors can attend more than 600 art events, including classes, tours, concerts, workshops, exhibits and a chalk art festival taking place at venues throughout the city.

This year’s festival takes place June 9–11, adding an extra day for the first time. The music festival boasts more than 100 food vendors and outdoor merchants. Enjoy more than 20 musical performances, adventure parks, carnival activities and a run and raft event.
The 104th annual rodeo takes place June 15–24. The event draws locals and tourists for its variety of rodeo activities, including bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, women’s barrel racing and more. A concert on June 14 kicks off the event.
Craft beer fans head to Reno Tahoe on May 20 for the annual event featuring local, regional and home-brewed beers. Sample unique brews during the one-day event, which costs $65.
