With technology advancing faster than ever, children globally are becoming attached to devices. Adults too. Our Netflix queue and ever-expanding inbox call our names even when we’re on vacation. We carry distractions with us everywhere, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to truly connect with your loved ones.
Let’s Roam Scavenger Hunts are revolutionizing the way families explore cities and bond with each other. Let’s Roam leads families to exciting sites and hidden gems, helping them discover things they never would have seen otherwise. It’s a guide, it’s a game, it’s an adventure that fits in your pocket. Available in 400-plus cities all over the world, there is sure to be one in your city. Learn something new in a place you have lived your whole life.
Let’s Roam is wildly popular among explorers of all ages. Kids love using the interactive app to solve challenges and compete for the high score, parents love that the hunts are outside and get everyone moving!
Last Summer, Denver Resident Aaron D. was frustrated by how disconnected he felt from his kids. His two boys, ages 10 and 12, weren’t talking to him as much as they used to, and seemed uninterested in spending time with their parents. With the kids out of school for the summer, they were restless and desperate for activities. Aaron purchased Let’s Roam tickets and they went on a Scavenger Hunt the following weekend. It brought the family together; it engaged and excited the kids; it challenged and connected all family members; it got them out of the house; it showed them parts of their city they’d never seen before … it was a unique, successful family bonding experience. “What a great time with my family, I would definitely do another!” Aaron said. And he did. The next month, when they went to visit the grandparents (Aaron’s parents) in Chicago, they went on Let’s Roam’s Magnificent Mile Scavenger Hunt.
For anyone looking for an outdoor family bonding activity that’s exciting, new and different, Let’s Roam checks all the boxes for most families. Every Scavenger Hunt is a one- to two-mile, digitally guided outdoor walking tour that leads you to your city’s most exciting sights. Each stop is jam-packed with fun and surprising facts, making it a playful learning experience. The hunts get the adrenaline pumping and sparks competition — teams/families vie for a spot on the city’s leaderboard, meaning they’re motivated to work together to answer questions, solve riddles and find clues. The photo/video challenges throughout the hunt can get ridiculous, making everyone laugh (you can download these to cherish forever). Families on a budget are jazzed by the price of Let’s Roam’s Scavenger Hunt tickets — compared to other guided tours and entrance fees, it’s incredibly affordable!
Wherever you’re traveling next, make sure a Let’s Roam Scavenger Hunt is on your itinerary. Your whole family will thank you.
