There are plenty of Jersey Shore points to choose from — you can’t go wrong with any — but one of the most popular locations is The Wildwoods. Families from all over the tri-state area vacation here for sun and fun.
Wildwood boasts plenty of multigenerational activities for everyone in the family.
Spend the day at the beach relaxing on the sand and catching some waves. Bring your lunch or head to the boardwalk to grab a slice of pizza and other classic boardwalk fare.
Before heading to the beach for the day, rent a surrey or a couple bikes and cruise down the boardwalk. Enjoy beautiful ocean views and stop by The Wildwoods beach ball sign for great photo opps.
Make sure to save a day to explore Morey’s Raging Waters Water Park. Rush down the many thrilling water slides, relax in the lazy river, hang out in the activity pool and work your way through the obstacles at Shipwreck Shoals.
Hit the boardwalk at night and head back to Morey’s Pier for thrilling amusement rides and fun games. There are three different piers: Adventure Pier, Surfside Amusement Pier and Mariner’s Pier. There are plenty of rides for kids of all ages, from thrilling roller coasters to kiddie rides and more.
For dinner one night, head to Menz Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant offers a gift shop with an old-fashioned candy counter offering tons of options to choose from. Almost all of the kids’ meals come in a beach bucket or a frisbee — all include a giant freeze pop for dessert and a sweet treat bag worth $1 at the candy counter and a lollipop for the ride home. While you wait for your table, send the kids to the arcade to keep them busy.
If you have teens or adult children able to watch the younger kids, head out for a night full of fun. Check ahead for current health and safety restrictions at stops like Mulligans, Casey’s on 3rd, Crest’s Tavern and more before planning a night out.
