There are a lot of creatures rumored to be walking this earth, but no one knows for sure if they are real or mythical. One of these creatures is Bigfoot; you hear about it in stories, see it portrayed in movies and even hear people report sightings from all over the United States. There is no way it can travel throughout the United States, so could that mean there are multiple Bigfoots and they are just extremely good at hiding?
If you are interested in catching a glimpse of this creature for yourself, check out this study done by SatelliteInternet.com on which states had the most reported sightings based on population.
Coming in at the top with 676 reported sightings is the state of Washington; Bigfoot loves hanging out in the forest, so it makes sense the green state of Washington reported the most sightings. Next up on the list is Oregon with 254, followed by West Virginia (104) and Idaho (93).
If you want to track down Bigfoot, even just to get a peek, your best bet is heading to a secluded forest area, especially if it includes some snow-capped mountains and fresh water nearby.
For those freaked out by the thought of potentially seeing Bigfoot, visit some of the states that reported the fewest sightings, such as Nevada, Rhode Island, Delaware and Maryland.
