Snowfall in Los Angeles? While it may seem unlikely, a winter wonderland is set to come to the city in the form of WonderLAnd, an immersive, drive-thru experience with synchronized dancing lights and good cheer. It will be open Nov. 30–Dec. 23, and Dec. 26–Dec. 30, 5–11 p.m., at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills, California.
Honoring different cultural traditions, WonderLAnd guests drive through almost 1 million lights timed to seasonal songs. There will be a “Holidays Around the Globe” display, a magical wintery forest and an LA version of the massive Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Vehicles traverse the North Pole mountains, a 90-foot twinkling snowflake tunnel and a snow flurry vortex tunnel. Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves will also be on hand!
Experiential Supply brings the winter scene to Los Angeles; recently, the company was behind the popular Hauntoween LA. Experiential Supply has also created large-scale, immersive experiences for big budget movies like IT: Chapter 2 and Ready Player One.
“If you came to Hauntoween LA, you haven’t seen anything yet,” said Jasen Smith, founder and chief experience officer, Experiential Supply. “We’ve learned a lot from our first run and are taking WonderLAnd to an unimaginable new level. It’s really going to knock people’s socks off!”
