Before Disney Parks around the world shut down due to the global pandemic, guests were allowed to purchase and enter the parks with an Annual Pass. This ticket let visitors enter the parks multiple times a year, get discounts on food and merchandise, and more. Since reopening, Disney dropped the Annual Pass due to lower capacity and the reservation system. Recently, Disneyland Resort announced a new pass system for frequent visitors: the Magic Key Holder. There are a couple different levels for the passes, so make sure you do your research before purchasing.
Imagine Key
The Imagine Key is the cheapest of the four options, starting at $399 or $19 a month for 12 months for Southern California Residents after a $179 down payment. This pass is a reservation-based admission to one or both theme parks on select days of the year. It is only available for Southern California residents. Passholders can have up to two park reservations at a time, and can get 10 percent off select merchandise and food and beverages.
Enchant Key
The next level of the Magic Key pass is Enchant Key, which starts at $649 or can be paid in installments of $40 after a down payment for all California residents. The key holder can make up to four park reservations at a time and enjoy 10 percent off merchandise and food and beverage.
Believe Key
Next is Believe Key, which will cost about $949 or $65 a month for 12 months after a down payment of $179. With this pass, guests can make up to six reservations at a time, get 10 percent off merchandise and food and beverage, as well as enjoy 50 percent off theme park parking.
Dream Key
Lastly, the most expensive option is Dream Key, which is $1,399 or $102 a month for 12 months after a $179 down payment. Guests who purchase this pass can hold up to six reservations at once, enjoy 20 percent off merchandise, 15 percent off food and beverage and free theme park parking.
