Exciting things are coming to Scottsdale, Arizona, this fall!

Where to Stay in Scottsdale

Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows offers guests on-site fall activities, including a beer garden, live music, holiday brunches and a holiday market. Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale recently debuted a Library Coffee Cart, featuring books and coffee pairings. Guests can take part in complimentary yoga classes on Monday nights. In honor of Scottsdale’s 70th anniversary, The Saguaro Scottsdale offers rates as low as $70.

Art in Scottsdale

Canal Convergence returns to Scottsdale’s waterfront this November. The large, public art event runs Nov. 5–14. With this year’s theme of Art & Technology, visitors can take part in interactive art, music, dance performances, augmented reality experiences and fire shows on the Arizona Canal. Immersive Van Gogh is now open in Old Town Scottsdale. The exhibit features 500,000 cubic feet of moving projections of Van Gogh’s works, paired with music, for a unique experience. Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts welcomes patrons back this October with dance and theater performances for the whole family.

Scottsdale Dining

Etta will open in Scottsdale Quarter this fall. Led by two-time Michelin-starred chef Danny Grant, the restaurant offers a rotating menu of wood-fired pizza, homemade pasta and salads. Through September, enjoy Brews on the Roof at Outrider Lounge at Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town. The Hatch Green Chile Roast takes place at Blue Clover Distillery, Sept. 24–25. The third annual event serves up hatch green chili dishes.

Looking past fall and beyond, Scottsdale has other exciting developments in the pipeline. In December, Desert Botanical Garden will open its large-scale exhibit of Dale Chihuly’s glassworks, “Chihuly in the Desert.” Caesars Entertainment Corporation will open its first non-gaming hotel in the United States, Caesars Republic Scottsdale, in 2023. SLS Scottsdale plans to open in June 2023.
