North America

Although some people consider Virginia Beach a summer destination, it thrives in the fall as well. This autumn, Virginia Beach is pulling out all the stops to become a prime destination for the season. Check out the list of offerings.

New Shops

The VB Picnic Co. & Longboard Charcuterie Shop

This shop is taking the picnic scene to a new level. A new storefront partnership between The VB Picnic Co. and Longboard Charcuterie now offers an in-person option to explore pop-up picnic experiences. Ditch the fold-up chairs, beach towels and basic picnic materials. Guests can expect pouf and rattan seating, luxurious linens, trendy tablescapes and gorgeous boards of finger foods, all setting the scene for special seaside celebrations.

Less Than Store

Doing more for the world with less is not just a catchphrase, it’s a business mission for the new zero waste refill shop Less Than. The store stocks naturally derived products sans package or using recyclable packaging materials like paper, glass or bamboo. Visit the refill station for dry or liquid goods by the ounce and shop homemade cotton goods, soy candles and indulgent skin care options.

New Fun Experiences

Float with Goats

A Boats & Goats trip with Rudee Tours adds new meaning to taking the “kids” out for a cruise.  The 90-minute leisurely sightseeing rides around the inlet at the oceanfront. This experience makes for a cuddly, photo-worthy outing suitable for ages 4 and up.

Chesapeake Bay Pedal Club

Hop aboard a new 16-passenger Cycleboat pub with your crew. Explore the waters of Rudee inlet through October. Two-hour cruise tickets are sold by the seat for several daily sailings, including a sunset cruise. Each pontoon boat is stocked with ice-filled coolers, bottled water and room for your favorite beer/wine additions.
