Puerto Vallarta
Summer is the season for baby sea turtles in Puerto Vallarta! Families can stay at Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa and participate in the seasonal sea turtle release program, running through December. This program is perfect for the whole family, allowing guests to release newly hatched turtles into the ocean from Marriott’s beach. If you don’t get the chance to participate in the turtle release program, make sure to visit the turtle sanctuary located on the resort.
After spending time with the turtles, send the kids to the Kids’ Club for them to engage in locally inspired activities, as well as fun and colorful indoor and outdoor play areas for ages 4–12. The teachers at the club teach kids about Mexican culture, facilitate Spanish lessons, pottery making/painting and Mexican cooking lessons. While the kids are at the Kids’ Club, parents can relax at Ohtli Spa to enjoy traditional treatments. Parents can also indulge in some R&R with a cocktail at Nosh, the new open-air beachside bar. Take it one step further with the unique tequila-tasting experience, led by the resort’s in-house tequila sommelier.

Panama Canal
