Paul Gauguin Cruises recently announced it will host its Moana Explorer Program on 21 dedicated summer and holiday sailings in 2023 and 2024. Designed for children aged 7–15, the Moana Explorer Program collaborates with Te mana o te moana, a South Pacific marine education and conservation foundation, to bring hands-on, interactive activities onboard and ashore.
“It is a special delight to foster an appreciation of Tahitian culture, wildlife, and wilderness among the guests of Paul Gauguin Cruises,” said Hélène Duran, general manager, Te mana o te moana. “Through travel comes knowledge and we hope the experiences in French Polynesia will leave a long-lasting impression on these younger adventurers as we know they are the future custodians of our planet.”

Program activities include visiting a sea turtle care center, hiking volcanic mountains, snorkeling, creating nature jewelry, going on treasure hunts, conducting water experiments and much more.
Book the program, available for no fee, onboard select sailings on the following itineraries: 7-Night Tahiti & Society Islands; 7-Night More Society Islands & Tahiti; 10-Night Society Islands & Tuamotus; 11-Night Cook Islands & Society Islands; 14-Night Marquesas, Tuamotus & Society Islands; and 14-Night Islands of the Marquesas & Tuamotus.
