Family travelers, kids especially, will thrill at China Airlines’ new aircraft! The Taiwan-based carrier recently introduced Taiwan’s first Disney-themed aircraft, celebrating the recent release of Zootopia 2, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ newest animated adventure, now on big screens.
The new Zootopia 2-themed livery plane showcases popular characters from the movie and made its inaugural flight as CI006 from Taipei (TPE) to Los Angeles (LAX) Nov. 19. Passengers can experience Disney in the clouds, surrounded by the fun and upbeat characters from Zootopia 2, across the entire flight experience, from check-in to cabin services.
The Zootopia 2-themed plane is a long-range Boeing 777. The fuselage boasts heroes Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, as well as new characters Gary De’Snake and Nibbles Maplestick. On the tail of the aircraft, Flash, the fan-favorite sloth, appears on the left side. The themed plane will also travel from Taipei to Ontario (ONT), Bangkok (BKK), Tokyo (NRT) and Osaka (KIX).
China Airlines launched a dedicated webpage for its Zootopia 2-themed plane, incorporating the airline’s signature corporate colors. Beloved movie characters add a more fun and interactive side to the webpage, which offers a wealth of content and will be progressively updated with information about the liveried aircraft, latest events, behind-the-scenes videos, cabin amenities, flight information and special offers on key routes.
