The festival brings an entire month of celebrations to the city, with more than 100 events around town. Whether you want to explore the city’s gastro-culture at a street food fair or imbibe in some unique adult beverages at Athens Cocktail Week, visitors can get their fill of traditional Athenian flavors and innovative new creations alike. Art exhibits ranging from the city’s cultural roots to the future of digital artwork will introduce you to the artistic vibe of the city, while musical performances will offer everything from classical symphonies to modern rock performances.
Film festivals will highlight the brilliance of Greek filmmakers while unique theatrical experiences, like the outdoor car-theater experience, will offer one-of-a-kind ways to experience Athens. Outdoors events will give visitors the perfect opportunity to explore the city from the ground up, day or night, with bike tours and cemetery tours by day and observatory events to discover the constellations by night.
Events will run throughout the month, with many offering free admission, making it the perfect way for any family to experience Athens within their own budget, schedule and range of interests.
