Hawai’ian Mermaid Birthdays at Montage Kapalua Bay
Children celebrating their birthdays or other milestones at Montage Kapalua Bay are greeted with a decked-out poolside daybed or room with mermaid-themed decorations, balloons, garlands, personalized posters, mermaid hooded towel, stuffed animals and mermaid book. Aspiring mermaids or mermen can book the Under the Sea daybed package, which invites little ones to be a “part of their world” with one-hour mermaid swim lessons, a photoshoot and a mermaid tail to take home. Paintbox, Montage’s immersive children’s program, will screen the classic 1989 The Little Mermaid throughout the summer.

A Whole New World with VR Mermaid Magic at Montage Laguna Beach
Virtual reality brings swimmers into a whole new world with VR headsets in Mosaic Pool at Montage Laguna Beach. Travelers can explore shipwrecks, coral reefs and even the Lost City of Atlantis as a mermaid with virtual reality snorkeling, available on summer weekends. In addition to the VR world, Montage’s youngest guests are invited to learn how to swim like Ariel from a real-life mermaid. On Sundays, all guests are invited to Meet the Mermaid to answer all their burning questions, like what really is a “thingamabob”?

Mimosas & Mermaids at The Wigwam
Mermaids don’t always live by the ocean. On June 17 and Aug. 26, Red Allen’s Bar & Grill at The Wigwam in Arizona hosts Ariel at its character breakfast. Afterward, guests are invited to cool down in the pool with Mermaid Trainings every Saturday. P.S.: There are delicious mimosas available for moms and dads while the little ones live out their mermaid dreams.
